A few months ago i started researching desk chairs to use when gaming/working at home. I narrowed it down to the Herman Miller Aeron and the Steal Case Leap V2. I went out and got both in great shape for cheap on craigslist. Figured i'd try them and flip the other.
However, i'm finding issues with both. The leap is awesome. It let's me fold up my legs, adjust the arms and i love the back. However, I find that the seat pan hurts my butt relatively quickly.
The Aeron is cool, but i have some slight issues with it as well. I really like the mesh seat pan, it feels pretty good and I don't get that sore from it. However, I find the back to be really narrow despite getting the size HM recommends for my weight/height. It also has this lower back support contraption that is pretty terrible.
I'm stuck at where to go next. I kinda wanna try the Gesture or the Mirra 2. Those both seem pretty decent, but they're harder to find and I wouldn't wanna outright buy one new and have the same thing happen again.
Should I just say fuck it and get a DXRacer or a cheap chair?
