I have been a lurker in this subreddit for a while now and have come to a simple conclusion. For me frugality is really about buying only what I need to a fair/cheap price and not about consuming everything I want as cheap as possible.
For example, I can save 100 dollars on a smart watch at this store with this or that campaign this day vs. I chose not to buy a smart watch because I do not need it, I only want it.
In my head these are two very different approaches to be frugal.
