Hello people, I've got an Epson xp-241 and am very disappointed at how fast it eats ink, each cartridge goes around $20 and I'm getting pretty fed up with buying one or two every couple of days, I started looking into refilling the cartridges and found out it was much more complicated than I anticipated, I've been researching for a bit and so far I've learned two things: I need to use generic/refillable cartridges because originals won't work, and chips are a pain in the arse.

First I found a cheap set of refillable cartridges on Ebay which I guess will do the job, these work right?

The chips are the complicated part, cartridges come either with no chip or "one time chips," now about those chipless carts, do I have to supply my own chips? I've been trying to find someone selling chips only and haven't had any luck, also I found there's a "Chip Resetter" thing around, can I use it to reset "one time chips"? Can I use it to reset my original cart's chips and use those on the refillable carts? I noticed there are ways to mod the printer to use no chips, I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Also what method or parts would you guys recommend? Thanks!
