Hi everybody!

I sort of accidentally discovered a cure for my impulse spending. Anout three months ago, I started making lists on Amazon and adding things I want to those lists. I realized today that I haven't gone back and purchased anything! I'm not sure why it works. I previously tried something similar in the notes section of my phone. For makeup, I used the "favorites" list of my favorite website. Neither of those curbed impulse spending - I would still often think about the stuff I wanted, and it would bug me. My brain didn't fully relax until I bought it.

For whatever reason, that doesn't happen with Amazon lists. Maybe because I know stuff is always just two days away? Or because it's categorized? For whatever reason, I'm glad it's working.

I hope this helps somebody else! What do you find helpful?

Edit: guys I was trying to make this a discussion rather than a success post. I'm sorry if I did something wrong.
