We're installing Ikea Lack (floating) shelves in a corner of our house. The wall is concrete and turns out to be very slightly concave. Here are some pictures, I can take more if needed. We ended up not putting the shelves flush with the corner because it was too concave. In the images, you can see we installed the bottom shelf first, then the two top shelves more to the right. We will move the bottom shelf over a few inches. However, before putting anything on the shelves, we're not sure if we should somehow fill that gap or what we should fill it with? We thought about putting in paint stir sticks, but we're unsure if that would help much. Google hasn't been much use, mostly it's people dealing with very concave walls and deliberately trying to go with the curve. We're both pretty amateur at building-type stuff, if you can't tell.Any help/advice is appreciated. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2y0cqhK
