We live in a pretty big house in Sweden. After visiting relatives in London my mother now wants to take out a mortgage on the house and buy an apartment in London. She wants to rent it out after learning how high the rent is in London. She's convinced this would be a good investment and that she would make the money back.
I don't know much about mortgages or Real estate but I just have a bad feeling about this. Is this a bad idea?
