I have a really specific sized space in my apartment that I'd like to fit a desk into, and I haven't found any desks that fit into that space.I want to build on of these types of desks, but I don't have the tools to build a tabletop out of multiple pieces.I'm not too concerned about how it looks, can I use a sheet of plywood (or MDF) cut to the size of my space and use the same pipe base they use in the tutorial? I want to mount my monitor (which weighs about 20 pounds) using a clamp too, would plywood stand up to a weight clamped down in a small part of it like that? And a slightly unrelated question, but there's a horizontal pipe running between both sides of the base, does it look like I could move that pipe to the back of the desk without compromising the stability of it? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vKHPGG
