Sucks, right? Basic schools, basic house, basic neighborhood. Oh well - the reality we live in.
Fiancee and I make around $10k per month after taxes. I work in sales so my variable income ranges wildly which is why I'm not including that amount in. I already maxed out my 401k this year but when next year rolls around, after tax income will be $9k per month.
40-44% of our after tax is going to mortgage + taxes. I feel uneasy. Thoughts?
We don't have any debt other than child support per month of $625.
