A lot of people recommend high end task chairs such as the Herman miller Aeron or steelcase leap. I know they are praised because of their ergonomic design and the amount of back support they provide, but I'm not sure if they're actually "comfortable". These chairs seem to be designed to prevent body pain in the office rather than for lounging purposes.
I'm looking for chair that I can be be productive in, but at the same time be able sit in, relax, play a couple of games in, maybe watch some movies, and overall just feel comfortable in. I'd rather not be forced to sit in a certain position, and I feel like that's what these higher end models are designed to do. I am fidgety sitter so to speak, so I tend to move positions a lot in my chair, especially my lower body. I go cross legged at times, so Id prefer a lot of space on the seat. I also occasionally slouch in order to get some neck support, so a headrest may be nice(?).
I'm thinking about going to costco and getting one of their high back office chairs, maybe the La-Z-Boy, but I'm not sure. I need some advice on choosing a chair that suits me. Also, if anyone with a high end ergonomic task chair can provide insight on its "relaxability" it would be appreciated.
