So I work part time and receive around $1,200 a month. My good friend and I thought about moving in together to get independence from our parents and live closer to our college.
My question now is do I have enough not to worry about my near future. I have around 10k saved with 1% annual interest. My college is secured by my savings account that will slowly add up.
My costs would be: $450 rent+$50-$60 electric+ $30 phone bill+ $60 gas+$30 internet+$150-$200 food= $770
P.s.: My parents aren't forcing me out because I know I could save more if I loved with them. It's more of an independice thing.
