I'm not sure what would be the best thing to do right now and for the future so I wanted to ask y'all for some advice. I had to get some work done on my car so I had to put about 1.2k on my Discover card. I already owe about $600 on my Chase freedom card. I just recently started a new job, but won't get paid until this upcoming Thursday. I currently have about 1.3k saved up and I'll be making about $400 weekly.
My dilemma comes that I don't want to use all my cash right now, because I want to go to school part time while I work my part time job to save up money to return to college full time, but at my old University at a different town. I would be going to a local community College taking the part time classes. I thought about opening a Chase Slate card to transfer what I owe from Discover and pay over it during the 15 months interest free period. I would also buy some stuff I need for school like a new computer that I need, and pay it off during the interest free period as well. I was hoping to go full time in January, but I'm not sure that'll be possible at the moment. My goal is to save up enough money so that I won't have to work while I'm full time so I can dedicate to my studies. I have mid 700 credit after having what I owe accounted for since my credit went down a little bit due to it.
TL:DR Get Chase Slate to transfer 1.2k from Discover to pay over 15 months, while I work and go to school part time. Instead of using all my current money to pay for what I owe and starting from scratch.
