Some cooking schools, like Le Cordon Bleu, have restaurants that their students cooks for as part of a capstone course. Supervised by tops chefs of course. Fine dining at half the price.

Name of the restaurant is Technique in Atlanta and LA. I ate there recently, very good. Three course meal including NY strip and pom frits for $15.

Good date idea. Fun watching the students in the kitchen and as the waiters and host too.
