3500 CC debt. Collections company has been calling, calling, calling.
I know you guys all recommend getting a lump sum payment together first, but I have no means to do that right now. I want to stop the calls and intend to pay back the debt, but I also don't want to get sued! What is a good first step to calling the collector back? I am a student with a part time job and looking for another.
Assets = 0, but want to pay back debt because it is legitimate and I lacked foresight and judgment at the time.
