We had a severe thunderstorm last night and found that water is seeping into one of the rooms (The house has no basement). Luckily only minor damage. It seems that there is a slope in the yard that doesn't allow for proper water drainage. I think if I level out the yard, it may prevent it from happening again, but I don't know if that will be the end of it. All I can find on google is how to deal with basement seepage. Any tips on yard levelling or techniques to seal the house would be super helpful. It's a slab foundation with brick exterior.
