Hi! So I have these dining room chairs with hollow metal legs that slightly taper toward the bottom. At the bottom, they have plastic pads that are both awful and mostly broken.http://ift.tt/2pY8mN9 would like to rip all the plastic pads out and replace them with... something. I was thinking something like a toggle bolt but I screw in some sort of a pad attached to the bolt. Something like this but the right size and a longer bolt - http://ift.tt/2q0kkDZ I don't have a lot of experience with toggle bolts and I don't think they'll hold here because they won't be able to expand all the way and it's a metal tube - not a wall. Are there better options out there? Is there anything else "expandable" I can stick into the tube? Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2pVBZ1n
