Hey r/frugal, I have a question. I am currently living outside of the U.S and I will be staying here for the next year. I want to finish my associates degree online and continue schooling when I get back home. There is one problem - out of state fees are absolutely ridiculous. I also am not currently a citizen of the country I live in...that is all being worked out at the moment. So its not like I can take classes here. I should add that I have a valid Washington State I.D. So my question is, has anyone done this? Is this possible? Is there any way the school would know I'm actually not living in the state, if my I.D says I am?
