Hi r/Frugal I am in need of new hiking/backpacking boots and am willing to spend around $100 on them but would like them to last about 5 years of use. In the summer I hike in my Sandals and the boots would only be used for overnight trips and weekly during the winter. (I live in a warm enough place that Hiking in the Winter is still great) any suggestions for a strong but inexpensive boot would be greatly appreciated!
