Hey y'all, long time lurker here.
Sorry in advance for any grammatical mistakes as English is my second(third) language.
So, I'm 22M and my GF is 23 and recently we found out that she's pregnant. 4 weeks pregnant to be exact. I'm a college freshman(I fucked up badly in past, so that's why I only started attending college now), she works full time and makes around $460(150 000 KZT) which is enough-ish for her personal spendings as she lives with her parents for now. Abortion is not an option as she doesn't want it. I'm quiet lost and shocked at the moment because I can't offer her anything. I don't work, I don't have a diploma, I still live with my parents(I'm basically I huge fuck up as one might say). She wants for us to rent an apartment, but normal apartments would cost us about $300(100 000 KZT) monthly not including electricity, gas etc. I will get a part time job for summer to save up some money but it won't be enough. My parents told me that they are OK with her moving in with us for 1 or 2 years(We live in a big house, so we won't step on each others toe). But I don't think she'll be happy with staying at our house with my parents. I'm not quiet sure what to do next. We can stay with my parents and maybe save up some money so that in a year or so we could move out and rent our own apartment. I don't think my parents or her would be happy with me dropping out of college to work full time somewhere(think of McDonald's, shop clerk etc.)
What do you guys think our next move should be? Is it a good option to stay at my parents house and save up some money until we can rent our own place? Or do you guys have any other advice for us? Thanks in advance
