I've always been curious as to how the very rich are able to continue their lifestyle even though they don't work. I can understand it, if they own a family business, but what about those who sold it and just got a big pot of cash?
What keeps the money flow? Dividends? Compound Interest? It's too risky to put it on a dividend paying stock so I'm really curious as to how this all works.
