I just built a huge deck addition on my house. I bought some 40' hanging lights that I intend to run back and forth along the deck between the house and the outside railing. I cant figure out a good way to mount a pole on the railing to hang the lights from. Ive considered black coated chainlink fence posts. outside shepherds hooks, steel conduit. None of these seem like the right fix for my issue. What do you DIYers think would be a good solid post or pole that would hold up string lights? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2pTFHJZ
