Hi All,My fiancee and I are looking to move out of our condo and purchase a house. Houses in our area are expensive (even out in smaller towns), but we can save buy purchasing an older home that needs some renovating. We came across this home. From the images, it looks like some of the house had the floors painted red. I can't tell if they are original wood or not or what the condition of it is based on these images. We will be going to look at it soon. I would have no problem sanding and staining them. When it comes to kitchen, I would probably rip out everything and put tile down. I would probably need to hire some help for this. My brother is an electrician and my uncle is a tile installer (forget what the trade is called). I would have some assistance, but I am wondering if I may be in over my head. I am a handy guy, but I have a bad back and wouldn't want to spend months refurbishing the home. Obviously we could do renovations year by year, but it's a lot easier to work on the house before furniture is moved in.Let me know your thoughts and any design ideas that come to mind when viewing the images. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2qAfZq9
