I just found this really fascinating.
Although this article lists VG total bond at 148B and I'm seeing 177B on their website it's still a fair comparison since the total bond fund is like 60% treasuries/Agency and to my knowledge almost all of the aapl position described here is corps. Just gives you an understanding of the scale of their fixed income operation.
