I'm sure a lot of you use Interactive where trades are a $1, but if you don't, I just emailed Ameritrade yesterday about getting my fee schedule changed. Prior to their recent fee decrease per trade to $6.95, I was already getting $7 per trade because of my trading levels. Since the change, I asked them for a more advantageous fee schedule than their standard users. They gave me $5 per trade plus .75 cents per option contract. Not a bad deal. I think it's only worth it to them though, if you do at least 5-10 trades a month and have decent account equity
