Hello Everyone! Here's my situation. I am a full time college student, work part time. I'm getting ready to move into a new apartment, and I'm getting ready to have a baby. I'm moving from a place I had with a roommate, and most of the furniture was her's. I need to find a way to furnish my new place with the essentials, for as little money as possible. Any tips, advice, or suggestions? If you know of any good resources, that would also be appreciated (blogs, books, etc)

I'm also interested in doing some DIY, assuming that it can save me some money! For example, I'm thinking that since the closet in the bedroom is pretty small, and I don't have a dresser, I might string up some wire across one of the shorter walls, and use that to hang cloths on.

Here's a run down of the apartment, and what I already have: Two bed rooms (my bedroom and the nursery) A small living room Tiny bathroom small kitchen, with only a few feet of space to squeeze in a one/two person table.

I already have a crib, changing table, coffetable (which I'm using as a tv stand), cat tree, a small side table (which I use as a desk), a large floor pillow (which I use as a seat for my make shift desk), a mat that I use as a mattress, and a few clear plastic drawers.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply!
