I am about to spend $5000 in a transaction. The seller and I agreed that I would pay the PayPal fee. We're both in the USA, so this is not an international transaction. PayPal's fee for USD transactions is 2.9% plus $0.30.
I relatively trust the seller, but not enough to send him the money directly via a bank wire.
Is there a PayPal alternative that doesn't take as high of a fee or one that has a cap on what the maximum fee can be?
