Have been reading these two books recently, and am wondering if there are any caveats that I should be aware of concerning advice in those books. For one, I've heard that the advice about investment in bonds is somewhat dated, and that one would be better off going into Index Funds and ETFs. Basically just want to know if they're still solid books to read, and whether there aren't other good books that provide substantive insight of the kind I seem to be finding here. I imagine there's a lot of garbage among books on investing and want to avoid "Pulp" investment books/advice. Thanks!
