Hi personal finance,
I am currently working for a consulting company where I was doing a project for a customer. The customer is world leading in their field and decided to recruit me after they saw my work. Long story short: The job they offer is amazing, top management within 2-3 years with this and that. However, after discussing expectations before Christmas I recently replied the CEO to let him know I was going to be able to move abroad if we could agree on terms and requested a written offer.
Now the CEO wants me to send in a CV along with expected annual salary because "that's HR rules".
I find this somewhat unprofessional - I very much expect an offer when approached like this, before mentioning a number. This is also very hard due to the career jump from my current position to the new one - at a very low age (no reference points in terms of salary, plus it's not even in my country)
Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
