I live in Brooklyn, NY and my ConEd bills are pretty high and volatile. I looked into my bills and it appears that ConEd is charging me a variable rate each month. In addition, I was reading the news and it seems that ConEd is about the increase their rates in 2017. So, I think I can definitely benefit from switching to a fixed-rate plan instead of a variable plan. Problem is, ConEd does not provide any fixed-rate plans, so I have to use an alternative supplier. I used an energy comparison site www.powersetter.com that compares different suppliers in NY and found that ClearView charges the lowest at 6.59 for 6 months, which is way below what ConEd is charging me now, so it seems like a great deal. Anyone looked into this thing?
