Last year, after stopping running, my thighs gained about 3" in circumference (thanks, squats...), and I ripped three pairs of pants in the same spot. The spot I ripped it in is, surprisingly, exactly here. It seriously is, and it's (circled here, lol).
Here are pictures of the three pairs of pants (black jeans, khakis, gray slacks).
My thighs have since shrunk since I started running again, so I can easily fit into these pants again. I haven't sewed since making a backpack in home ec 13 years ago, but I really want to learn the skill again. I can figure out how by fumbling around the internet, but before I try and fail, are these rips way beyond repair?
If not, do I just... throw them in the trash? None of my clothes have ever ripped. That feels kind of wasteful.
