In February someone used my card at a gas station. Or so I thought. I canceled the card and thought nothing of it. In early March someone bought something for $200. I called my bank again and they said that someone had accessed my bank account and was taking my money directly from there. So I froze and shut down the account. No charges were made from my savings account so it seemed they only had access to that one account.
About a week ago I got a call from my local health department letting me know that my backup covid shot record was ready. I called alarmed and they said that apparently they were just going through old requests again (I requested one last summer but picked up from a different location- this location is legit, though) and were calling back.
Okay...so I thought I was just being paranoid. Then yesterday I get a text message from a doctor's office that contained my first name thanking me for scheduling with an ortho doctor. I have been having back pain and was certainly looking for a doctor, but I haven't booked an appointment yet. What is going on?
I used Zelle to buy Girl Scout Cookies from some people who live a five minute walk away from me and at a mobile dog groomer that comes to the same location every Wednesday before all this trouble began. I'm starting to think someone hacked me through there, but it wouldn't be the people I bought from, would it? Could they be hacked? If not that way, how? Did someone hack my phone? What's the purpose of making medical appointments in my name
