You can laugh at my Paleolithic technology -- it's OK; I'm proud of being old.

I have a couple of drawers of old 3.5 floppy disks that I never disposed of because "I might need the files on them some day" -- shortsighted thinking, considering many of the documents on the disks are no longer needed, as well as unreadable since they were generated in Windows 3.1 and Word 95.

The only use I've found for them is as thin shims to shore up a rocky table, but I'd love some more creative and / or useful ideas.
