I try to be as healthy and frugal as possible, but I HATE the taste and texture of plain avocados.
My local grocery store has started selling super ripe avocados in packs of 5 for $1.00, which is a super deal because they are normally $1-1.50 each.
I normally try to use them up the day I buy them, so I either:
- make guacamole
- puree it with my marinara sauce and eat it with pasta (to sneak some extra veggies and omega 3 in)
Any other ideas? Maybe something I can make a big batch of then freeze? Will avocados keep in the freezer?
