So i recently got a job at ups for local sort at 14.50 an hour. I get full medical benefits after 6months? a 1$ raise every year. I plan on Applying for delivery as soon as i get my liscence i need to have had it for 2 years as well, starting pay for that is 22.50 an hour, after 5 years im bumped to top pay at 45-50$ an hour, and i plan on driving the feeder trucks as well. Planning everything in my head, I should be able to afford a house by the time im 26-27. Does this sound like a decent plan? My parents say i should just take out a home loan, but i would prefer just to pay it in full wothout having to worry about a mortage. i plan on doing the same with the car im going to buy.
