I am a 30 yo professional in a big corporate currently in NY. My team is expanding to Dallas and I was offered the opportunity to lead that team but obviously I have to move down there. The downside is I will take a 15% pay cut because of the difference in cost of living. The upside is that’s a faster path to manager position but nothing is guaranteed.
I am excited about the opportunity to build and lead a new team but I can’t get over the pay cut. Any suggestions?
