Hey guys - just finished up an awesome tool for my masters program. Last class - then graduation. Would love to make some tweaks based on your feedback before submitting to my professor.
Have you ever found yourself in a situation asking yourself if you were list a for sale item at the right price? Have you ever wondered if you were buying an item at a fair price? Are you just curious what different items are going for nowadays?
I'm sure everyone has gone to ebay, typed in the item, checked the sold items filter and looked the values/prices for a few items / pages.
This tool automates this process for you. Get historical + current completed sales for a specific keyword. You can use the same logic here that you are used to in the ebay search bar. "search term +must +have -shouldnt -contain" (+ refers to keywords the result must have / - refers to keywords the result must not have).

This project was inspired by my passion for trading cards. I am always looking to buy and sell for my collection. I would spend hours searching tons of sold items on ebay to make sure I was buying and selling at a competitive price. Originally this was started as an efficiency tool for myself. It grew into a school project. I hope it can grow further for the community.
