I’m not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I’ve recently inquired into different financial/wealth management firms in my area and finally landed on one I thought would fit my needs perfectly. I set up an appointment with one of their financial advisors and followed up with a quick cursory web search.
Well, turns out she’s part of a multi level marketing company (perhaps two). I just can’t consolidate being a financial advisor while part of a company that systematically endangers women’s livelihood. This firm comes highly recommended by a friend (she has a different advisor) but I already feel as though I can’t trust this individual’s judgement.
Am I being paranoid?
