I couldn't sleep last night, so I decided to see if any of the speakers or receiver we bought went on sale. Sure enough, the receiver was $200 cheaper now and the deadline to either return or get a price match was in 3 days. It took only 10 mins on a chat at 1am to get the difference plus tax refunded to me, so I made insomnia work for me.
I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me. It seems like every time we buy some big ticket item, it is even cheaper soon after, even with we wait for the sales. And this was the second time this year that we were told "this never goes on sale".
