We have a painter coming in next week to paint the kitchen, but, as the title says, our stove is so close to a wall that it rubs the wall when we open the oven door to the point where it’s left a mark and scraped off some of the existing paint.I was thinking of renting an orbital sander from Home Depot and taking it to that part of the wall for some breathing room, but I’m not sure if that’s going to leave a weird rough patch.Any advice?Edit: Thanks for all the responses so far guys. I’m posting pics to give you an idea of what I’m working with. As you can see, whoever remodeled the kitchen put things in preeeetty tightly so I’m not sure working on the oven side is an option.pics via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2tMUKJc
