So I bought a replica of Lokis/Chitauri Scepter online. It comes with a plastic display stand that's painted silver (reddit wouldn't let me post a photo, ill try to post a link to a photo of the whole thing in the comments) but the one I received didnt come with hardware to fasten the arms that hold the scepter onto the base of the display. Ive tried contacting the seller but they wont respond, and I cant find any details about the fasteners in any item descriptions.Theres holes that look like they're made for fasteners on the arms and base, about 5mm in diameter and smooth plastic, no threading to hold a screw in place. Theres a 6x8mm square hole that gives access to the fastener holes on the arms, but they're too small to fit a nut for a screw that fits appropriately. So I'm thinking that I need something that uses tension, like the wood biscuits that come with ikea furniture, but I'm having difficulty searching for that in a way that actually brings up usable results. So I either need help with determining what terminology to use while searching, or another suggestion on what to use as a fastener for this stand. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2M7aPiQ
