I’ve gotten a lot of mixed opinions so I’m reaching out to the DIY hivemind, in the hopes someone will have some first hand experience.Basically, is it safe to use a chimenea underneath a pergola, and if so what sort of height clearance would you want above the top of the chimney to prevent damage to the structure?The pergola in question is open-sided, paved ground, about 8x4m (only need warmth for a small area though), with a ~3m high gabled roof and wooden cross beams at about 2.5m height.It has two ceiling fans and open ends at either end of the gable which I figure would provide adequate ventilation, I just don’t want to burn down my house/permanently stain the pergola sheeting. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2NSeBuV
