I need to be better about spending money.
I hate spending money. Hate it. Maybe it's from having a wealthy childhood and suddenly losing it all. In the end, I know you can't take it with you, but sometimes that doesn't make it easier.
I'm the kind of guy who likes to spend money on experiences, rather than possessions.
I'm on a journey learning how to literally spend money. Letting go of currency in exchange for a durable necessity. Instead of continuing to use a dry squeegee to "vacuum" the carpet, I'm learning to let go of my money and tell myself it's okay to upgrade.
Just because you're frugal, doesn't mean you have to live with broken things. Spend your money wisely, live within your means, and learn to let go.
TLDR; Learn to let go of your money in order to invest in things that really matter.
