Hey guys, so a lot of the wealthier people I know, often reiterate the old concept of not saying things like "I can't afford it" or "I'm broke" etc. but I don't know of many alternatives.
If I was invited to lunch somewhere I couldn't afford for example, what would be some better phrases I could use. I don't want to lie and use a fake excuse, but I don't want to be using phrases like "I can't afford to/can't afford x" etc.
Any ideas?
