Hi everyone, I’m at my wits end and this is the only place I could think of to seek help with an ongoing issue I am having. All the windows on the top floor of my residence are leaking water into the interior. The water is coming through the piece of wooden trim that separates the window frame it self from the interior decorative frame on the interior at the top. Fixing the problem from the outside is not a possible solution unfortunately. The only thing I could think of would be using three coats of Drylok paint at and around the frame at the point of entry. I’m assuming this is happening due to degradation over time, improper install/no flashing as well as the mortar joints between bricks allowing water to infiltrate into the inside. Water also leaks through the exterior portion of the wooden window frame at the exact same location as inside. Any insight would be greatly appreciated I am grateful for any and all advice. Thank you so much! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2Ia09jH
