Just logged into my HR Block online filing account for the first time this year. While I don't have all the necessary forms I can at least get started, revise personal information, etc. However what I immediately noticed is that the "free" version (available to those of us making below the set limit) no longer seems to support the home mortgage interest and real estate tax deductions. Instead you have to go to the $30 version to get that. Unfortunate change there. Guess I will hit the IRS website for alternatives.
Just thought everyone should know. If you have a preferred filer I (and the rest here I am sure) would be interested in learning about them.
