Our dog ate the whole collar area of a really nice men's cashmere sweater, ~ size large. There's still a ton of really nice, unruined fabric left, maybe about a third of a yard, and I don't want it to just get thrown out given the quality, thickness, and cost of the material. Any suggestions for what to make?

So far I've considered leg warmers with the sleeves and mittens with the rest. I could maybe develop it into a sweater vest but the back collar area is pretty torn up.

[EAT]: Y'all folks have such fantastic ideas, definitely a ton I'd never have thought of myself! Thank you for the outpouring of crafty knowledge.
