Hi fellas, long time lurker, first time poster here. Currently I work part time and earn roughly $120 a week. I find myself to be constantly strapped for cash and it sucks. I was hoping you guys had some tips to improve my terrible saving and spending habits.
My estimate for what I spent my money on in the last 3 weeks are:
- Jack in the Box and 7-Eleven : ~$90
- Subway (the sandwich shop): ~$45
- Steam Games: ~$30
- E-liquid (vaping) ~$15
- Phone Bill: ~$90
- Magic the Gathering Card Stuff: ~$100
Total (ish): ~$370
My problem is, or at least what I think my problem is, that whenever I see money in my account, I need to spend it. Its like a compulsion. No matter how guilty I know I'll feel after dropping so much cash, I always spend it. I'm not sure what information you'll need, let me know if you do.
It may be pertinent that both my mother and grand mother were and are hoarders. Also yes, I know I should work more hours, but I'm still looking. :/
-Thanks
