Hey guys! I need some help with a bit of math. I have a set salary now, but recently I've been working a crazy amount of overtime. I'm going to talk to the boss about this since there doesn't seem to be an end in sight, but I wanted to make sure I have my numbers right. Right now I'm putting in 66 hours a week, so I take 40 at a base pay and then multiply the remaining 26 at 1.5 base pay, correct?
Y=40x+26(1.5x)
Where Y is what I make weekly, and then I can use it to solve for my hourly, X, am I right?
