To the more mechanically inclined, this is not a big deal, but I had some problems with my lawn mower running. After looking online, I took a guess as to what was wrong and thought, "I'll give it a shot; if I screw it up, I can always take it to a place and have them fix it for me." $13 and an hour later, it's running like a charm!
Moral of the story: if it's broken, give it a shot at fixing it. What's the worse that could happen, if it's already broken?
