So earlier I posted that now that I'm being frugal & not blowing money/putting whatever I want on credit cards, I'm actually looking forward to my birthday & hoping my boyfriend buys me a keurig (instead of just buying it myself with a credit card).
I deleted the post because I felt stupid lol and that I wasn't being frugal enough because I'm still wanting pricey things. But then I got to thinking that people might have different definitions of frugal? Right now frugal to me is: not buying everything my heart desires / not eating out all the time / not using credit cards unless I have an absolute emergency / looking for cheaper alternatives. Is this enough? Is it okay to still want pricey things once in a while or do I not fit the actual definition of frugal?
Really I was just trying to look for silver linings because I know that frugality pays off in the long run, but it's still a big adjustment for me. So being excited about a potential birthday gift was a short-term silver lining for me lol.
