Hello!
First - sorry if this doesn't really belong on this subreddit. If it doesn't, if you would kindly point me in the correct direction that'd be appreciated!
My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Japan and we are super duper excited, but it's also our first trip like this, so we're not sure what kind of cost to be expecting. I was hoping to run our plan by you guys and just get confirmation that we're not being fiscally irresponsible.
Starting Stats: My Salary - 114,000/year (~6,400 a month) His Salary - 114,00/year (~6,400 a month) Savings Combined - ~60k
Trip Costs - for 11 days: Flights - 2049 -> 1024.50 each Customized itinerary suggested budged - 4,000 - 5,000 each including tours, hotels, transportation, some food Extra - Probably 500-1,000 each for goodies, unscheduled food stops, free days
Total 6,275 each if median costs for each range are met. 5250 (if you exclude the flight) -> 477.27 a day each
Does this seem reasonable? Are we over paying?
Thanks!!
